Portishead Senior Forum

Portishead Senior Forum.

Curzon, The Oldest Cinema in the UK.

The Portishead Senior Forum has two delights to offer at the Folk Hall, Portishead.  Wednesday the 19th of July begins at 2:00pm with a member of the Portishead Rail group updating us on the saga of getting the town’s railway back.  Following tea and biscuits, Andrew Caddy will talk about the Clevedon Curzon Cinema, opened in 1912, the same year as Bristol Hippodrome.  It has some unusual features and many tales to tell.

The meeting closes at 4:00pm, entry is free for members, £3 for visitors (who may hopefully join).
