You could have heard a pin drop.

As artist Patrick (Pat) Shipsides painted a watercolour scene of Portbury Church seen from across the fields, the members of Portbury WI fell silent. As we are a chatty bunch, that is a rare achievement, but we were enthralled by Pat’s talent and his teaching. One lucky member will get to keep the painting.
